Employee Relations
Employee Relations covers
a number of areas including labour relations, human rights, employee
relations, compensation and legislative compliance. While most are self
explanatory, Employee Relations covers situational topics such as;
relationship development, creation of effective work environments and
mediation in problem relationships.
This function acts as the
Chair on behalf of the Board in bargaining with both the ECSSA and AUPE
groups, assists in ATA bargaining, investigates and recommends resolutions
to Human Rights complaints, recommends changes to the compensation
programs and facilitates the resolution of grievances and other people
related problems. This function also provides consultation services for
the proper interpretation and resolution of legislation issues as well as
all Collective Agreement differences.
